Castle sieges are the heart of Lineage 2 end-game. Winning one gives your clan a castle, tax income, clan-hall perks and serious bragging rights. Here is how a siege actually works.

Requirements

  • Your clan must be level 4 or higher to register and to own a castle.
  • Lower-level clans and individual members can still fight, but cannot claim the castle.

The castles (Interlude)

Five castles can be sieged: Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren and Aden. Later chronicles add Innadril, Goddard, Rune and Schuttgart. Each runs on its own siege schedule.

Registration

  • The clan leader registers as attacker or defender at the siege NPC in front of the castle before the siege begins.
  • The current owner is automatically the defender.
  • Registration closes once the siege is proclaimed, so sign up early.

Winning the siege

  1. When the siege starts, the outer gates and walls become attackable.
  2. Attackers push inside and destroy the doors to reach the throne room.
  3. An attacking clan member must engrave and take the Emperium.
  4. Holding the Emperium when the timer ends gives your clan the castle.

Tips

  • Bring dedicated door-breakers (bows/siege golems) and a healer core for the throne room.
  • Defenders should funnel attackers into choke points and reset the engrave.
  • Coordinate with allies — most sieges are won by numbers and organisation, not gear alone.

Find a server with active sieges on the Lineage 2 server list, and give your siege clan a proper emblem with the crest maker.
